upside down

Jack Johnson's music is a big family favorite, I could almost hear him singing in the background during this session...

I want to turn the whole thing upside down
I'll find the things they say just can't be found
I'll share this love I find with everyone
We'll sing and dance to Mother Nature's songs
I don't want this feeling to go away

While we were a little nervous about Mother Nature getting the best of us with her santa ana breezes, we ended up a beautiful park in Poway, a gorgeous sunset, and a great time.

i absolutely love this shot!

There's a story here about Julie. In the rare occasions that she wants someone to do something "now", she will slap the back of one hand against the other palm. Seems the whole family knows the maneuver.
upside down.....is this how it's suppossed to be?

and since this song is already in my head: enjoy a little jack johnson

The hand slapping photo is artistic (and classic!) These are great shots, J and J! We have to talk about how you did this!

I love this family shoot. Seems so realistic of what they're like everyday, I think my favorite has to be the smiling braces shot, as someone who has tortured :) with them as a kid I think they look so cute in photos!!!

We had such a blast! We wanted to remember the "middle" years as well as the younger years. This was the perfect way and Jason & Julia captured all the humor, sarcasm, laughter, & hugs that are a part of our everday family. Thank you so much again for capturing our moments so perfectly.
